Rehabilitation and physiotherapy unit
This unit is integrated into a highly specialized medico-surgical model. We approach musculoskeletal pathology from a precise clinical perspective, oriented toward functional recovery and performance. We cater to patients seeking individualized treatment based on a rigorous diagnosis and criteria of excellence.
Our goal is to restore function, alleviate pain, and optimize physical capacity. We are part of a multidisciplinary team that integrates specialists from all areas involved in the musculoskeletal system, allowing us to offer a global, coordinated, and highly precise approach.
When should a patient visit us?
We recommend visiting when there is persistent pain, functional limitation, or following an acute injury. Also in cases of loss of mobility, strength, or a sensation of joint instability.
We intervene both in the initial phases and in chronic processes or post-surgical contexts. Early assessment allows us to establish a precise functional diagnosis and optimize recovery times.

What conditions do we treat?
We routinely treat muscle injuries, tendinopathies, joint pathology, and spinal pain. We work on the main joints such as the shoulder, knee, hip, and spine, as well as upper and lower extremities.
We attend to sports patients, post-surgical processes, and degenerative pathology. Likewise, we address complex cases that require specialized monitoring within an integrated medical environment.
What treatments do we perform?
Physiotherapy through which we apply advanced manual therapy and structured therapeutic exercise programs, supported by cutting-edge technologies aimed at tissue and neuromuscular recovery.
We integrate highly specialized tools such as tecar therapy, focal shockwaves, high-intensity inductive magnetotherapy, and neuromodulation techniques, which allow us to intervene precisely on pain and function.
We also incorporate strategies such as Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR) with advanced control devices, optimizing strength recovery in early stages. All of this is part of an active, individualized approach based on clinical criteria and scientific evidence.

What is the treatment process like?
We perform an exhaustive initial assessment that integrates the patient’s clinical, functional, and biomechanical analysis. Based on this evaluation, we design an individualized recovery plan, adapted to the pathology, context, and specific objectives.
Monitoring is continuous and carried out in coordination with the medical team, allowing the treatment to be adjusted according to progress.
We discharge the patient when they have recovered an optimal level of function and autonomy.
We approach your recovery from a multidisciplinary clinical perspective, combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and advanced technology to eliminate pain and restore your daily well-being.
What is the recovery like?
Recovery is designed as a structured, progressive, and supervised process in which the patient actively participates.
Adherence to treatment and consistency are crucial to achieving lasting results. We accompany each phase, adjusting loads and interventions based on clinical evolution.
Recovery times vary depending on the pathology, but we always seek a balance between efficacy, safety, and complete functional return.

What can you expect from your recovery?
Our goal is to eliminate pain, restore function, and improve the patient’s physical performance. Progressively, an improvement in mobility, strength, and neuromuscular control is experienced.
We work actively on preventing relapses by correcting predisposing factors. We seek not only the recovery of the previous level, but its optimization.
What sets us apart?
We are distinguished by our extensive experience in the field of high-performance sports, where we have worked under the highest physical demands, obtaining consistent, reliable, and high-quality results.
This knowledge allows us to transfer elite protocols and criteria to any patient profile, adapting them individually. Added to this is Instituto Cugat’s solid track record in the development and application of regenerative techniques, allowing us to integrate both approaches into an advanced, precise, and results-oriented treatment model.

Our Team
The core value of our unit lies in the high qualification and experience of our professionals. We have a multidisciplinary team of specialized physiotherapists who work in close collaboration with the medical staff of Instituto Cugat.
Together, we apply the most demanding clinical criteria and the most advanced techniques to offer each patient a precise functional diagnosis and a fully individualized recovery plan.
