
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2001-2007). He secured a residency position in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona (2008-2013) with rank 302. He earned the title of Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology in June 2013. He completed a Combined Master’s in Sports Traumatology at the University of Barcelona / Autonomous University of Barcelona (2013-2015).
He undertook a Postgraduate Course in Surgical Anatomy for Residents in Surgical Specialties (2010-2011) and in Surgical Techniques in Foot and Ankle Surgery (2018) at the University of Barcelona.
He obtained a Doctorate in Surgery and Morphological Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2017 with distinction, with a thesis entitled: Análisis de la revitalización de injertos óseos estructurales criopreservados mediante periostio vascularizado en modelo de conejo (Analysis of the revitalisation of cryopreserved structural bone grafts using vascularised periosteum in a rabbit model).
Since 2015, he has collaborated with the Catalan Footballers’ Mutuality, providing comprehensive care and treatment for all federated footballers throughout Catalonia.
In the academic field, he has been involved in training medical students at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) for over six years, both at the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya and the Quironsalud Hospital in Barcelona, as well as conducting studies and collaborations with the Anatomy Unit of the UIC. Since 2019, he has also been collaborating in the Physiotherapy degree program at the UIC.
He has delivered numerous lectures at courses and conferences in his specialty and has presented more than 50 papers at national and international conferences, in addition to having over 20 indexed and non-indexed publications in national and international journals.
